Amazing customer service from Day one! Talked to Walt and he asked if I could come down the next day so he can get a look at it. From then on, they were on top of it! I was even on a time crunch and they exceeded expectations! They were the only one out of the multiple shops I called who took the steps to start ordering parts before even having the car tore down, allowing me to keep it longer which helped save me tons on a rental! Highly recommend these guys!

Not All Body Shops Are The Same

About Redeemed Auto Body

Redeemed Auto Body was founded in 2020 by Walt Silmon, who started in the auto body industry in 2007 and built the shop around one principle: safe and proper collision repair, done the way the manufacturer intended. We are an independent shop, not a Direct Repair Program shop. We gladly work with every insurance company, but once your vehicle is placed in our trust, we work for you. You will hear from us at least twice a week during your repair, with photos and written updates, so you are never left guessing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about collision repair, insurance, and our process

What areas do you serve?

We're located at 2144 Jonesboro Rd in West Monroe, LA and serve drivers across Ouachita Parish and northeast Louisiana, including Monroe, Ruston, Bastrop, Rayville, and the surrounding communities.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Consultations are free. You can upload photos online any time for a free preliminary estimate, or stop by the shop. For an accurate repair plan we recommend an in-person evaluation, where we inspect the vehicle and put together a written estimate with no obligation and no pressure.

Do you work with all insurance companies?

Yes, all insurance claims are welcome. We are an independent shop, not a Direct Repair Program (DRP) shop, so we work for you rather than for the insurance company. We handle the paperwork, communicate with your adjuster, and make sure the repair follows OEM procedures instead of insurer cost-cutting.

Do I have to use a body shop recommended by my insurance?

No. You have the legal right to choose any licensed body shop you want, regardless of what your insurance company suggests. Your insurer may recommend preferred shops, but they cannot require you to use one. Choosing your own shop means you pick a team you trust to do the job right, and your claim will be handled the same way either way.

Who pays for the repair?

In most cases, your insurance company covers the cost of the repair. If the damage was caused by another driver, their insurance pays. For incidents where you're at fault, your collision coverage kicks in and you only pay your deductible. If you don't have insurance or prefer not to file a claim, we're happy to work with you directly and can provide a detailed estimate upfront so there are no surprises.

What is the difference between OEM parts and aftermarket parts?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by your vehicle's manufacturer to the same specifications as the original components. Aftermarket and salvage parts can vary in fit, quality, and safety performance, and using them can void your vehicle warranty. We always use new OEM factory parts and follow the manufacturer's repair procedures.

What does your limited lifetime warranty cover?

Our limited lifetime warranty covers the work we do ourselves: the workmanship and the paint. If a repaired panel doesn't align, a paint finish starts to peel, or any other part of the repair fails because of how it was completed, bring the vehicle back and we will correct it at no charge. "Lifetime" means for as long as you, the original owner, keep the vehicle. "Limited" means the coverage is specific: it applies to our workmanship and paint, not to the parts themselves, which are covered by the manufacturer's own warranty, and it does not transfer if you sell the vehicle. The full terms are explained and documented in writing before any work begins, so you know exactly what is covered.

How will I know what is happening with my vehicle?

We contact you at least twice a week during the repair with photos, status summaries, and written explanations. We'll reach you by phone, text, or email, whichever you prefer, so you are never left wondering about your vehicle's status.

How long will the repair take?

It depends on the extent of the damage and parts availability. Minor repairs can take a few days, while extensive collision damage that involves structural work or back-ordered parts can take a few weeks. We give you a clear timeline after the initial assessment and keep you updated throughout the process.

Will my safety systems work after the repair?

Yes. We run a diagnostic scan before and after every repair, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems such as lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control are recalibrated to manufacturer specifications by verified specialists before your vehicle is returned.

What should I do after an accident?

First, make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if there are injuries. Exchange insurance and contact information with the other driver, and take photos of the damage and the scene. File a police report if needed, then contact your insurance company to start a claim. Once that's taken care of, bring your vehicle to us or give us a call, and we'll handle the rest, from the initial assessment to working with your insurance on the repair.

What's the difference between a body shop and a car garage?

A car garage, or mechanic shop, handles what's under the hood: engine repairs, oil changes, brake work, and other mechanical and maintenance services. A body shop specializes in the exterior and structure of your vehicle: dent repair, paint work, frame work, and collision damage. If your car was in an accident and has visible damage to panels, bumpers, or the frame, you need a body shop. If your engine light is on or your brakes are squeaking, that's a job for a mechanic.
